Flower Shop Mother's Day Card

Yesterday my church Mum's coffee group got together for a catch up and to learn some fun things for "Keeping House".  One of the things I got to watch and learn was how to make some jam which required no cooking and was sugar free.  You can add a little honey or something sweet if you like, but it doesn't have cupfuls of sugar!  All that was in it was fruit, chia seeds, and honey/maple syrup (optional).

During the morning, the ladies also had the chance to make a Mother's Day card with me.  Most of them were new to card making so I kept it simple.  They each embossed a piece of card for the background using the Big Shot. The ladies always enjoy using the Big Shot and are impressed with the textured card that comes out.  They stamped some flowers and used the co-ordinating punch to cut out the flowers. The co-ordinating punch makes card making nice and easy.  The pearls or rhinestones finished off the flowers nicely.

Here are a couple of cards I made as samples for them to work from.  I also stamped envelopes.  One of the cards is for Mother's Day and the other is stamped with "Just for you" so it can be used for any occasion.

Here is a close up of each card.
